About Ocean Gate Plumbing and Heating, Inc.
My business started in January of 2006, so established in 2006. I got my start with the a company in Portland that has been established since 1936. I learned nearly every aspect of the plumbing trade with this company. The tremendous amount of knowledge that was offered there, I was very lucky to have been able to have gained such a wealth of knowledge and experience. From commercial to municipal to residential. I was there for 6 years. I then decided to gain knowledge in the technical side of plumbing and heating with radiant floor heating, sophisticated controls and European heating systems where efficiency plays a enormous role in Europe, such as with Buderus, Viessmann, Baxiluna and Penzotti Oil fired and Gas Heating plants. Efficiency is the whole key.
Efficiency? Heating homes and businesses with low water temps and low stack temps is the ultimate goal. These systems I write about, sure they can be expensive initially, but in the long run it will pay off. Everyone knows that heating oil and natural and propane gas are not coming down, so the goal is to beat them at there own game.
As far as the plumbing side, I offer the best comforts of whatever your budget will allow. I am very partial to Kohler, Grohe, Moen as well as Delta and American Standard. From high end to whatever may fit the budget. I've had the privilege of working with some of the smartest people in the business, and have gained and earned the respect of my fellow tradesman in the business, as well as sales people and representatives of the products I sell. "Installation and Service with Maine Pride"is my company motto and I take great pleasure in seeing the smiles and satisfaction in my customers. I have worked in many many homes and businesses all throughout Southern and Central Maine and I believe that they will tell you the same thing.
